Empowering Refugee Youth Through Quality Education
Empowering refugee youth in Kuala Lumpur through GED education, leadership training, and English immersion — opening January 2026.
Education Changes Everything
Garden City Learning Center exists to address one of the world's most overlooked educational crises. According to UNHCR statistics, 84% of refugees in Malaysia aged 14-17 are not enrolled in any type of secondary school. If the Malaysian refugee community were its own country, these would rank among the most discouraging secondary education statistics globally.
But we're changing that narrative.
Launching January 2026, Garden City Learning Center will equip refugee youth in Kuala Lumpur with:
GED Secondary Education that is recognized worldwide,
Leadership Training that builds character, confidence, and real-world skills, and
English Immersion for academic and global success.
Because when education begins, everything changes.
